if you have not received it by feb 15 then you can call the irs 1-800-829-1040 for assistance. You must provide your name, address (including zip code), phone number, Social Security Number, dates of employment, your employer/payer's name, address (including zip code), and phone number. The IRS will contact the employer/payer for you and request the missing form. IRS will also send you a Form 4852 (PDF), Substitute for Form W-2 or Form 1099-R.
also, for the girl that said she hasnt received her 1099, most ppl dont get their 1099 until early to mid feb

Employers have until Jan 31 to send out w-2's. If you have moved, you need to call human resources and give them your correct address. |

By Federal law, it must be postmarked by January 31. |

The last week of January at the latest the first week of February if you don't get it by then call the IRS the number for that is in your tax booklet don't worry I am sure there are lots of people that haven't gotten it yet. I'd ask your boss maybe it got lost in the mail and maybe he is able to print you off a new one if that is the case. |

I think I read that they have to be mailed out by 1/31. I haven't recieved my 1099 yet. Some employers wait until the very last minute. |

The employers have 2 mail them out no later than Jan. 31st
if not they can get in trouble, but make sure u haven,t moved since. and they have ur current address. |

THey have to be POST MARKED by january 31st. or they can get in all kinds of trouble!!!! i know how your feeling i still havn't got mine yet.. and im mad!! ha if they send em out on the 31st u won't get them til about the 2nd or monday the 5th. or you might get lucky and get it friday! ha good luck. |
