What is the yearly salary for $10/hr?
I work 40 hours a week

$10 @ hour x 40 hours per week = $400. If you get paid for vacations then just multiply the $400 by 52 = $20,800. If you don't get paid for vacations then multiply the $400 by how many weeks you actually did work. This is of course gross pay, before any federal or state withholdings, and before social security and medicare withholdings. I've attached a paycheck calculator website to help you figure out takehome pay. www.paycheckcity.com

$10 x 40 hours per week x 52 weeks a year = $20,800

the 'standard' calculation is that there are 2000 hours in a work year if you do not get paid holidays and 2080 if you do.

thus, your annual wage is either 20,000 or 20,800 depending

There are 2,080 work hours in a year (52 weeks x 40). $10.00 an hour x 2,080 = $20,800.

VINI Vidi Vici - Drank, saw, hit
Every $1 an hour is worth about $2,080 per year.

That's $20,800 per annum at $10/hr.

Rough math rule:
Every $1 per hour = +$2K per year and every raise of $20 per week = +$1K per year.

Just multiply the number of weeks you work by hours per week by income per hour.

Most people work 1960 hour years. That would put it at 19,600 per year at a rate of $10 per hour.
