I support their right to exist and to defend themselves. But I think we should be giving no foreign aid to them without something in return. I think they are important as the first democracy (and only one, until afghanistan and iraq) in the middle east, and a loyal ally to the US.
I don't like us throwing billions at a country who can more than take care of themselves. I think that money could be used better at home and in starving parts of the earth. |

They have a right to persure their lost soldier. If Palestine wants this to end the should release him rather than appeal to other nations to place pressure. It seems stupid that so many people are going to have to die because they want to maintain bargaining leverage. |

I don't think Israel is much different than every other corrupt country out there... they just do things in different ways.. maybe some that don't offend or turn off most people. Can't we all just get along????? |

They did a lot with the desert that was given to them. Too bad about the dead sea shrinking. There is a major drout in Israel. It's a beautiful place. Too bad about the violence that goes on there. The land should be shared between the Palestinians and Israelis. I think that's the only way to start peace-keeping. I don't think there'll ever be peace there unfortunately. |
