You can use the 1040EZ generally if your only income is wage income of less than $100,000, it is reported to you on a W-2, your interest income is less than $1500, and no dependents.
If this does not describe you, then you must use the 1040A or 1040.
Also remember to mark that you are the dependent of someone else, if your parents are entitled to claim you.

That depends on your specific situation. Read the instructions at irs.gov or ask your parents for help. |

You can start with the 1040ez.
If you find that for some reason you need the 1040 just shred the ez and go with the 1040.
IRS's website at
www.irs.gov
is the place to go if you have questions. |

Yes you can and yes you should. So long as you don't own a house or have a complicated return then the EZ should be fine. If you go to H&R block. com you can do it there and it will tell you what form as well as help you through the process. The only thing you pay for is to electronically file. |

Maybe. However, if you have certain types or amounts of income, then no. For example, if you have more than a certain amount of interest or dividends, then you are not allowed to use Form 1040EZ. Read the instructions. If you cannot understand the part of the instructions that explains whether or not you can use the Form 1040EZ (which is not determined by whether you are filing single), then you will not be do it yourself. It must be done by someone who can understand that part of the instructions. |

Most likely. If your only income is from W-2's and maybe a little bank interest, Yes, you can use the EZ. |

1040EZ would be the way to go unless you have a lot of deductions (which at 19 I seriously doubt). |
