I know there were quite a few expecting to get their rebates today. I could only find a few people online that have received theirs already. So I looked up info that may clear up any confusion. Yes, the rebates have started to pay out today. However, not everyone in the first wave will be receiving the rebate today. Only 800,000 people will get it today which is only about 10% of those in the first group. Then another 800,000 will be paid tomorrow and Wednesday. The remaining 5 million people from the first wave will be paid as scheduled on Friday May 2nd.

That depends upon how your bank processed incoming ACH deposits. Some post in real time and others post at end-of-day.

I would assume its when your bank opens but who knows with the govenment who will get it when. I am hoping the bank will keep doing deposits all day long vs just in the morning or something just keep checking it will show up eventually. But thats probably not the answer you were looking for right?

Your bank won't read it until tomorrow. When you deposit a check does it read the same day? NO-it just gives you a credit while it confirms. same thing! Except you don't get a credit!

You need to check the IRS website- the dates have changed. The 1st checks, for direct deposit, will be in on Friday. May 2nd.
