If you mailed in your form, and you are waiting for a paper check, it is usually 6-8 weeks. If you e-filed and are waiting for a paper check then about 4 weeks. If you mailed it in and are waiting for direct deposit then 3-4 weeks. If you e-filed with direct deposit then 1 1/2 weeks - the second Friday after (as long as it was sent before Wednesday of that week)

rnejako
It depends on when you sent your tax return in. go to the following website and click on the "where's my return" button.

Friday. Which Friday depends on a number of factors. When your return is received is the primary factor. If you mailed the return in April, it may still be in a stack of returns the IRS is inputting into their computers.

pretty soon--I think not more than 3 weeks.

Usually on Fridays. If there isn't a problem with your return, the refund checks are sent 4-6 weeks after the IRS receives your tax return.

DarkShadow
I believe that they should have already been sent out. Sometime in late April I think.

acmeraven
In batches from Philadelphia depending on when return was received and processed and if there are or are not offsets and yaddah.

Jo Blo
they are mailed on Fridays

Ms. Angel..
Call 1-800-829-1954 to check the status of your refund.
If you mailed in your form, and you are waiting for a paper check, it usually take 6-12 weeks to process your tax return. If you e-filed and are waiting for a paper check then about 4 weeks. If you mailed it in and are waiting for direct deposit then 3-4 weeks. If you E-filed with direct deposit then about two weeks. But if you have not filed all your tax return from previous years you will receive a letter that your refund is being held until you file prior years. IF you have filed all the returns timely then call the number listed above.
