2. If it's the REBATE, Economic stimulus payments will be issued according to the last two-digits of the main filer's Social Security number. People who use direct deposit also will be among the first to receive the payments starting May 2. Paper checks will be put in the mail starting May 16.

Usually like a month an a half after you mail it out. it could sbe shorte for some people but usually that. omq but it feels like sooo lonq until you qet it jeez. anyway qood luck. =] |

It depends on when you filed. If you filed this week you should get them soon. The later you wait, the longer it takes because most people wait until the deadline and then they have a lot of checks to mail. It also helps if you do direct deposit, that's what I did and I got them in about two weeks. |

How do we know if you even qualify? Maybe you aren't worthy, maybe you are a con-artist? Perhaps you would suggest that I give you my tax rebate check which I already have in hand, and you will pay me back when you get yours. Well, your plan is foiled. Uhm, seriously according to the White House and IRS, checks should be getting to houses starting in May, provided you made at least 3000 dollars the last year.

More info needed... when and how you filed? If you filed electronically, you will usually get it fairly quickly. Around 2 weeks for less depending on when you filed. If you mailed it, probably looking at 6-8 weeks. If your talking about the stimulus package, their not going to start mailing those till the end of May. They are mailing them according to when you filed. |
