You need to contact the assessor or treasurer of the county the property is in and ask. I live in Missouri and our are due on Dec. 31st each year.

I pay every month as part of my mortgage, it goes into an escrow account, then my mortgage company pays my property taxes and homeowners insurance from that escrow account.

annually, i believe they are due in march, but the earlier you pay the bigger discount you get. i usually pay mine in november, but my mortgage company collects it and pays for me. it's included in my monthly payment. im in FL though. i think that is the earliest one would pay here.

If the property tax is not attached to your mortgage then it varries by location. There are quarterly and bi-annual payments depending on your location.

The city I live in (in Virginia) charges it twice a year. June and December.
They base it on the property assessment.

Depends on your location.

USUALLY, if you have a mortgage, your property tax is included in your mortgage payment and the money goes into ESCROW and held by the lender - here, locally, property taxes are assessed TWICE a year, and twice a year, my mortgage company pays the tax to the county out of the escrow account.

So it can be annually or semi-annually. Never heard of 'monthly' tax payments to the county.
