Individual income taxes are normally due April 15. This year is April 17 b/c the 15th falls on a weekend. You can file for an extension, but if you owe the IRS money, that money must be paid by April 17th, to avoid interest charges. |

for individuals April 15th (you can file an extention as long as you make estimated payments for the liability). For a business the drop dead date is March 15th. |

11:59 on April 17th the 15th is a weekend. You can file for a 6 month extension. If you were not in the us there are other extensions for you. Not sure if this is the case. You can file for an extension an the IRS.GOV web site you will look for form 4868! |
