I filed on march 26th with h&r block. I knew it would be a while cause I filed multiple years. Its now been 9 weeks and I still havent seen my return. Should I be phoning the CRA? |

Depending how complicated your returns are, you might have a bit of time to wait yet
Some losses or gains can affect other years. So they might have to recalculate the returns several times. If you had not filed for several years, some information might be out of date.
Your employer's copies of T4's could be archived.
Since you had not filed for a while your life might just get more interesting. (They just might be auditing your returns)
I think the priority might be to process those who filed on time and then move on to special cases. |

How many years did you file? Remember that CRA will have to process them in order. |

If you wanted your refund on time, you would have filed your taxes on time. Multiple years takes time to process, and can take between 2 and 4 months to process. It's only been 8 weeks.
Unless, of course, you have a debt with CRA. If this is the case, they tend to process your returns with a fine tooth comb. |

If you filed multiple years, then don't expect to get the older years assessed as quickly as the 2007 return. The system is set up to process 2007 quickly, but previous years are not the priority for the tax centres right now.
You can contact the CRA and find out if your return has been assessed or not. |

If your year 2007 return was file electronically, you should have received your year 2007 NOA with your refund (if any) by now. If your return was paper filed. Then it may take 6-8 weeks for CRA to process. If I were you, I would give
CRA a call anyway. You may call this no. 1-800-959-8281. |

You should have it by now.I would call CRA and inquire about it.make sure you have your SIN.number handy and other info.you have as they will ask you for it.I did mine online and had my refund in 8 days.Did you ask to have it deposited in your bank or mailed to you.Sure seems a long time to wait. |
