My husband and I already filed our taxes and expect our refund soon. Just curious as to when to expect the rebate. My understanding is that it won't come with the refunds and we don't need to do anything to qualify for the rebate. |

The tax rebates are said to be released in May. However it will take a while for them all to go out. It might be september, october or MAYBE even as late as november (i doubt this long) before they are ALL sent out. I dunno HOW they decide whose are sent out first. The only thing you have to do to qualify is to be a person who filed for 2007. If you are married you get $1200 back and $300 for each kid if you have any. It does start going down if you make over $150,000 a year. |
