So the IRS says they started direct depositing the tax rebates on Monday. They're paying it in order of the last 2 digitals of your social security number.
My social ends in 00 which means I should be one of the first to get it. I had my normal tax refund direct deposited, but the rebate hasn't been deposited yet. What's up? Did they really start early as they claim? Has anyone else recieved there's yet?
And yes, I do qualify for the rebate. |

My social is in the second "batch" so i can't speak from first hand knowledge, BUT i do know a lady who received hers as early as Friday the 25th (b/c depending on your bank, they will deposit direct deposits dated for Monday on late Friday's date b/c they "roll over" ) So yes, people are getting them....
They are supposed to be depositing to approx 800,000 people per day through today, skipping tomorrow and then huge dump of a few million people on Friday the 2nd.... that is also the "should receive your $ day no later than" date listed on the IRS website....
Good luck! the day isn't over yet - hopefully you will get yours soon... - you may also want to call your bank and ask if there is a file pending, they can look and see if something is scheduled to come in within 24 hours or not. |

From what I'm hearing its all random. I heard some ppl got it with #49 which wasnt due 4 on till the 5th. I also heard the majority will be on Friday the 2nd. But i still keep checking like a fool every hour. lol. Let me know if you get yours sooner |

They are not doing them "in order". They are in batches, theoretically grouped by ranges of SS numbers.
Yes, a lot of people have received the rebate. Even more people have not. |

I feel your pain. I am an "08" and I haven't gotten my rebate yet -- and like a previous responder I am a compulsive checker lol. Hopefully we'll get our rebates by the 2nd. However, mine is going to my landlord and my credit card. :) |

According to ABC News they aren't starting direct deposits until this Friday and going in order from 00, so you should get yours Friday... lucky. I'm #55 :( |

I have actually heard of a few people with social security numbers ending in 26 and 79 who have already recieved theirs. I'm not sure it is going exactly as scheduled. I think we should stick to the schedule the IRS put on thier website and just hope they go in early. Just sit tight you should have yours by Friday May 2nd if it was Direct deposit. |
