Don't worry....you have just checked your status too many times with a period of time. I did the same thing and freaked out! If you call....1-800-829-1954 it will tell the status. The online website blocks you after so many times. Good luck....I checked mine this morning and it had updated with the deposit date and no longer said I should get it before the 29th! Hope it works out!

Sounds like they found an error with your return. Same thing happened to me in the prior year. I expect you will get a letter in the next week explaining the error. It's probably nothing to worry about. They actually found an error that worked out in my favor. They increased my refund after fixing the error.

strange that it was accepted on the 13th when this year they didn't start accepting filings until the 14th (seeing how the 13th was a Sunday and they aren't open on Sunday).
However, if filed electronically it take 5-7 days to show up.
I filed on the 16th and haven't received my money yet either.

The message I got said if they found no errors or you didnt owe any other taxes that you would recieve your refund before the 29th. Maybe they did find an error on the return...I am sure they will let you know what it is.

dont worry. it did the exact same thing to me. i called the "where's my refund" phone number because the online one didnt work. it said i should expect to receive my refund by january 29th. the exact same thing the online one said before. so the site must be messing up. just wait a bit and try again later.
i want to say it did the same thing last year and we still ended up getting our refund deposited into our account by the date it had originally posted.
