Where are the people who want to donate me some money so they can use it as a tax write off?
In order to get a tax right off it has to be a legitimate charity, which you are not.

wishful thinking on your part does not reflect the reality of the tax laws.

Sorry, even if someone did donate money to you they couldn't use it as a tax writeoff - that's only for donations to registered charities, not to individuals.

You require a charity number if they actually wish to use it as a tax write-off, not just penning someone a cheque.

Are you a recognized charity with a letter from IRS stating you have a section 501(c)(3) exemption or do you just want people to give you money?

Sorry, but donations to a specific person are not deductible as a tax write off. And if you wanted to form a non-profit, recognized charity, you have to file tax returns with the IRS, and let them know what your charitable purpose is. Somehow, I don't think you'd get very far with the IRS telling them that the purpose of your charitable organization is to make yourself rich enough to not have to work.
Just to let you know howerv, any person could give you up to $12,000 per year as a "gift" without any tax consequences to them, and gifts are never taxable to the person who receives them.
