Many people think they qualify for direct deposit and don't - they'll get a paper check in the mail.
Check your bank statement from when you got your refund. If it doesn't say "US Treasury" you won't get your rebate dd. |

did u file directly or with an agent? they may have delayed the filing date, or did you you get a copy of the filing and date?
call or email the irs directly to track your rebate check.
i would call. remember this is the same gov't that cannot figure out that alaska oil should have been drilled ten years ago, so we could be less dependent on other oil producers like hugo chavez, middle east nation et al, now.
i am pulling for u. i do not expect mine till july ends. |

Well heres whats going on.
the goverment is sending the checks out according to the last 2 digits of your ssn. So if it ends in 1-3 or maybe 4, you wouldve gottn your check this month. The rest will go out in June. You should get it around june 6th.

I was supposed to get mine on the 9th also so was my friend niether of us got ours either. We both used tax act. Along with a co-worker. My co-worker used tax act and her SS# is after mine. She was to get hers on the 16 and got it on the 9th. My friend and I did not. Not sure what system the IRS is using. |

If you got a refund anticipation loan or paid to file out of your return (instead of with a credit card) your Stimulus Pmt can't be directly deposited. I did mine on TaxAct.com but paid to file out of my refund & it didn't come on May 9th so I checked the irs website & sure enough found out this is why :( I needed the money for my June 7th wedding & now I don't know how i'm going to get the last minute stuff I need. |

Havent recieved mine yet either. Mine was May 9th as well. But did find out if you had your prep fees deducted from your refund then you will be issued a paper check.
My deal is that I qualify all around but on the irs website where you enter your status info (see link) it says " We are sorry. Specific information about your Stimulus Payment is not available." Thats what scares me. You would think at least they would have some record of it! |

I think they ask you to give them 4 to 5 days AFTER the day it says you're supposed to get it, before contacting anyone. A relative of mine was to get his on the 9th and he got it that morning. |

Ours came just fine, sorry to hear this :(
Other family didn't get it either tho' they had to call the IRS and have a trace put on it.
The only thing I can say is call the IRS and find out what's going on, our's was there the night before even. I'd call them hun and see where your money is...
