if you didn't get a refund, if you owed $300, than you will be getting a check since you never opted to have a refund done through direct deposit, checks should start going out in the middle or end of this month, 26th if I remember correctly. I'm assuming if you didn't anything back for a refund than you will be getting the checks either this month or maybe early next month

It sounds like either you don't qualify for direct deposit and will get a paper check in the mail in a few weeks, or else you filed too late to make the first set of payments

mel
direct deposit will get them sooner. mailing takes longer.

hmm. idk.
i got mine. but i didnt owe anything.

Did you electronically file and pay from direct from your checking account? Only those people who electronically filed their 2007 taxes and had their filing tied to a checking/savings account (payment or refund) are receiving their stimulus checks right now.

If you used Turbo Tax (or any other service) to withhold fees, you'll be getting a paper check, as best I can see. And you have to have had your refund direct deposited as well in order for the rebate to be direct deposited. There's a calculator on the IRS site to figure out if you're eligible and what the rebate amount would be.

Did you call the IRS, to see if you qualify? You know the Irs sometimes has issues.

Rebates will only be deposited into your bank account if your refund was deposisted. If you received your refund by mail the rebate will come by mail as well.

If you didn't pay the $300 you owed, you won't get anything if I understand correctly.
