Where is my Stimulus Rebate Check???
Ok...is anyone else in my situation?

My SS# last 2 digits fall between 00-21 and I was "suppose" to receive my rebate on May 2 by direct deposit according to my "eligibility". Today is May 9 and no rebate check. When I checked on the IRS Website, it tells me there is no specific information available yet regarding my check. I filed my taxes electronically on January 30, 2008 and received my refund back on February 8, 2008, that was over 3 months ago today. Is anyone else having this problem with receiving their rebates? If so, is there a number to call???

Help.......

I self-prepared my taxes through Turbo Tax? Does this mean I will get a paper check?

This means you will recieve a paper check...

If you had your fees for filing withheld from your tax refund you will receive a paper check...if you recieved a refund anticipation loan you will recieve a paper check.

The phone number for the IRS is 800-829-1040 and press 7 for rebates.

Good Luck

The schedule only applies to certain people. It does not apply to you IF:

1. Your return was not processed by April 15th
2. You used a tax program/tax service and paid your fee out of your refund

It also states on the IRS website to allow 2 weeks from your scheduled date.

did you have your fees taken out of your refund? if so you will be getting a paper check

Mine is 00 and I am suppose to receive a check instead of dd. I filed with hr block . I had my bill taken out of my refund so I am suppose to get a check. They said I was suppose to have my check mailed on the 16th. I was hoping they'd mail them out early like they deposited the checks early.

I got mine today, my SS ends with 23. e-file with turbo tax, direct deposit.

Yours must be in the same place as mine because it's not in the bank account where it was supposed to be! I don't understand why they even put this info out if it isn't correct, only gives people hope and then lets them down. I also had no luck checking on the website.

Mine was supposed to be deposited on May 9. Used HR Block, had it direct deposited and paid the prep and filing fees with a credit card. My bank records show my tax refund being deposited by the IRS. The IRS calulator says I should be getting a pretty sizable check - married with kids. Nothing as of yet and no information on the IRS website. On their site it says wait for two weeks after the due date, on another area on their site it says funds should be received no later than the due date. I know some people who were supposed to be in week one and got theirs a week late. The only question I have, and can't find an answer to, is what if you used the option to have your refund deposited into different accounts as the IRS offered this year? Does that affect it at all?

Sounds like there are more questions than answer right now.

Same problem here. I did receive a letter from the IRS, last week, that my check would be deposited late, but by the 9th of may at the latest. Well it is the 9th and still no check, what gives?
