My social ends with 01 and I filed the day I got my W2. I was informed that they started sending payments out Monday, April 28th. If this is true I should have been included in the group that went out Monday. |

You do not sound greedy at all. You have money on the way and like many others(including me), the news made it sound like we would be getting our deposits on Monday, if our last two was 20 and under. I haven't received mine either, but my mom did. She filed the EZ form and we filed 1040. I have seen several people commenting on that issue, saying that the IRS put the EZ and 1040A filers through first and the rest will be deposited Friday.
I hope yours shows up soon. Maybe tonight? I did read that they will not be doing any deposits on Thursday, but they will be doing millions on Friday. Good luck. |

No, you're supposed to get it on FRIDAY, MAY 2nd. SOME people got their money deposited earlier this week, but not all. Expect to see it FRIDAY. |

One, did you file and have your withholdings excess (refund) directly deposited to your account?
Two, do you have any payments that you owe to the government - college loans, child support, state/local taxes?
Three, have you experienced a delay like this before? Some banks do not process "new payments" as quickly as others. The bank may have it, but they are verifying the sender. |

Actually according to the IRS schedule you are supposed to have your rebate check direct deposited NO LATER THAN May 2nd...no where does it say who was getting their rebates early...the news announced that Bush said the rebates would start rolling on Monday...what they failed to say is that the rebates for people who filed the simplist of all forms would start recieving their rebates on Monday (and not even all of them would recieve them on Monday)...
Please be patient...if it isn't there by Friday evening then you can call this number to inquire (if you call now I guarantee they will tell you what I am telling you because it is what they told me) 800-829-1040 |

IRS schedule still states 00-20 will be BY May 2nd. They are still working on it. Check your bank account Friday.
I think they are sending them to the people who filed the SIMPLEST forms. People who had lower incomes. It's not done by lowest SSN first. Its the people within the 00-20 range who have the simplest forms FIRST. The rest in that range on Friday. |

Same thing happened to me. If you used H&R Block you will not be getting your money put into your account. H&R block set up and account them deposited the money, which means the IRS sees that as a loan and will be sending you that as a paper check.
