I know the feeling. My last 2 are 02, and nothing yet. I understand they will deposit a batch each day thru Wednesday, then none on Thursday, and then start back up Friday. Who knows when it will be there!!!! |

Mine ends in 09, and I filed direct deposit for my 07 tax year back in January. As of this morning, there is nothing posted or pending in my checking account. |

My last 2 digits are 08...still have not received it yet. Does anyone know if they are direct deposited at midnight or should I check with my bank frequently? I hate to be impatient but I really could use it ASAP... |

I'm an 04, filed single w/ 1 child. As of 5:30am this morning (5/1) still nothing. I'm just worried because everyone I know got a letter in the mail saying they were elgible for the rebate, but I never got a letter! I work full time, made about 30K last year, I don't owe any school loans, or any back taxes. My parents told me maybe my letter just got lost in the mail and I shouldn't worry, but I'll keep worrying until I see my money is in my account! |

The government released 800,000 checks on 4/28, 4/29 and 4/30. Then remaining 5million will go out on 5/2. |

MY last two digits are 00,filing jointly, still no direct deposit. Yes this is money that the government is giving back to tax payers ( and some that don't pay tax), but I also am feeling the pinch of gas for my car and oil for my furnace!!! It is only 38 degrees here today. I would really like to know how their computer sorts out the order! And yes, I did get my original tax return for 2007 directly deposited. Anxiously waiting in NEW YORK!!!!!! |

You will have it by tomorrow, if all of your information is correct. You can actually call your bank now and ask them if a deposit is pending. My last 2 are 03 and I just called Commerce and it's in there for tomorrow.
To the others whose last 2 start at 21...the media has totally confused everyone. Even though they are going in batches (00-20, 21-75), they are not sending them out in numerical order. For example, they are not being sent out by 21, 22, 23, 24, etc. They are being sent out by which form you filed (1040EZ, 1040, etc.). So even though your number may be 21, that does not mean you will get it on Monday, the 5th. All it means is that you will have it BY the 9th. |

mine is 03 and still nothing yet.. and another thing to One of the answer no this isn't a gift. it goes towards 2008... i thought i was getting mine Monday. they shouldn't have said we were getting them early maybe they should have said we would get them by the 2ND I'm also broke and need gas lol |

I've been searching and no answer. What are the new dates for receiving your rebate if you have direct deposit? They are sending them out Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Is that only for people whose social ends in 00-19 or does that mean all direct deposits will go out this week? The treasury department says that 5 million will be sent on Friday.
I don't know about all of you but I have bills to pay and with rising gas and food prices, it's tough. So this inquiring mind wants to know. |

Don't feel bad...our SS ends in 01 and as of 4/30, still nothing has been deposited in the bank. My aunt's SS ends in 04 and she received hers yesterday (married filed jointly - like me). She also has the same bank as me. NOT FAIR!
IMO, the whole "going by the last digits of SS" is a bunch of BS, since I have not received mine yet. |

I also filed in January 08 and my last 2 are 07 and still nothing. I tried calling them because I want to speak to a live representative and not some recording. Then I had to wait 15 minutes to get someone. Finally I gave up. If It is not there by tomorrow morning, then I will call again!
Amazing how the IRS wants their payments on time and penalize us when we are late. I think we should do the same thing to them!

OMG!!! I hope this don't happen to me..I am really depending on this check also..You should of got yours yesterday because your last digits are 12..I am Supposed to get mine on the 5th of May, which is next Monday cause my last digits are 21...Do you happen to owe anything on taxes, because if you do they might of put it towards that. |
