Where is my stimulus package money?
I am due to receive it by the 9th of May via direct deposit. However, some of my family members with the same due date already received theirs. This is confusing to me. Are they doing them based on when you filed your tax return? Mine was accepted two weeks before the deadline and I did receive my refund. I checked and I do qualify for $600 so are they doing a large amount of them on Friday, May 9th? Additional Details My last two digits are 29. My dad's is 63 and he got his today. I'm still waiting for mine.
Most of the direct deposits for the week will be on Friday, so hang in there until then.

The rebates are being sent out according to the last 2 digits of your SSN. Mine is "70" and I will be getting mine on Friday 5/9.

I spoke to a rep @ IRS. The last digits are 15. Because we had the fees taken out of the refund instead of paying with credit or debit card, we will be getting the check mailed by may 23rd. She told me they don't send them to 3rd parties. If they tried to send it back the way my original refund was done, it would go to a 3rd party first and they won't do that. It sucks, if not for a technicality, I would have gotten my via direct deposit on May 2nd.

The 9th is the max due date, you might get it sooner. They are working on them and sending them out as they do it. Make since? They are a little a head of schedule.
