Where is my tax refund?
I'm just curious, the website says the check was mailed on the 15th of May. Does anyone know how long it usually takes from the time they said they mailed it till I actually recieve it.
I don't know if this effects it, but I'm in PA and mailed my 1040 to Kansas City.
IRS put the check in the mail on the 15th, now it is up to the Post Office to get it to your mailbox, usually 3-7 days.

My refund check was mailed out on a friday and I received it on the following monday. I'm from Georgia.
My Rebate check was (per website and mailing) mailed out on May 16th so I should expect it on Monday also.
It should not take but a few days over the weekend, so count Saturday and Sunday. Give it until Tuesday, that is if it was actually mailed.
You might want to call the IRS just to ease your mine.

And if the website confirms that the check has alreay been mailed, then you should be seeing it any day now.

It has nothing to do with where you mailed your 1040 to. Give the post office a few days to deliver it. You said it was sent out on the 15th so you surely don't expect overnight delivery by the post office. I would guess you will receive it around the 20th or so. Don't get your panties in a bunch.
