Ok here is the deal whatever tax company you used and had the fees taken out. You will get a check! The reason for this is because the company uses their Bank Account # instead of yours when it is turned into the IRS, that way they can take out their fees and the rest gets deposited into your account. Because of this the IRS never truly has Your Bank Account # so that cannot send it to your account. |

I am supposed to get mine no later than today as well and still have received it in my account. I guess I was stupid for starting to depend on this money!! Silly me :) |

My wife just informed me that if you filed with Turbo Tax or H & R Block there is a problem with the IRS, and we are NOT going to get Direct Deposit, but rather a paper check in the mail no later than June 20....bummer, huh? We are in the hurt locker over this as well. Good luck |

This is what I found out:
If you used TurboTax’s “refund transfer” you will not get a direct deposit. This information comes directly for the TurboTax Support Site Page on the Stimulus Payment:
Under certain circumstances, however, the IRS has decided that taxpayers can only get their rebates by mail, even if they get their refunds by direct deposit. At TurboTax, this will happen if you use a “refund transfer” when filing your 2007 return. This service lets you pay for your tax preparation and/or e-filing from your refund proceeds, for an additional fee, under an agreement with Santa Barbara Bank & Trust . |

There must have been a glitch with e-filing because my dau said she asked for direct deposit when she e-filed but received her refund by check which meas she will be getting her rebate money by check as well. |

I think it has something to do with Turbo Tax. My husband and I used Turbo Tax and we should have gotten our check direct deposited today, but didn't. We did everything right and even got the letter saying we would be getting a stimulus payment and what not. We looked around on the web for info, and almost everyone we encountered who should have gotten a payment but didn't used Turbo Tax. Not sure what to do about it though. |

Well, if you DIDN'T get your tax refund yet I doubt you would get the stimulus check today. It may depend on the date you filed your tax return and that might be the hold up. Chances are you are going to have to wait for the paper check.
Since your preparation fees were taken from your refund you will get a paper check. |

We got ours today. Did you have the fees taken out of your refund? If you did, expect it to be mailed. |
