Life is tough but you just have to get on with it. Sitting on your **** all day feeling sorry for yourself & expecting the rest of us to lift, lay & pay you isn't going to help the situation at all.
It's a disgrace that the benefit system is far too easy for people to abuse with ridiculous claims of feeling depressed. If you actually made an effort to get out & get a job you wouldn't feel so worthless. |

Can I ask are your parents out of work as well. I think in all seriousness for a bit of self esteem and self respect you should see if a doc will refer you to a shrink. Whether you are living at home or not you have a right to claim either Jobseekers' Allowance if you are able to work or Incapacity Benefit if you cannot, your local Jobcentre should be able to give you all the information, good luck. |

You will need a lot of proof e.g. doctors notes etc to claim incapacity and not be asked to carry on working - as from the 27th October it is being replaced with the Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) - the aim being to get people on incapacity back into work and education rather than sitting at home.
Once you have been granted Incapacity/ ESA you can use this status to access income support |

well, yes there is incapacity, you could try to claim d.l.a. as well - contact the d.w.p. to ask about it ...you'll only qualify for this if your doctor or psychiatrist will sign the forms - worth a try though. |
