hypnotoad_2008 | Which brilliant man in answer land can answere my taxes question? |
Im thinking about doing my own taxes this year. I always used to when I didnt have any dependants but since Ive had kids Ive let someone else prepare my taxes. I qualify for earned income credit but dont know much about the process. Im a quick learner. I would like to get my refund fast and as large as possible. where should I turn |

Definitely do it yourself. There is nothing difficult of doing taxes when you have dependents. Since you mentioned that you're a quick learner, you will learn if you follow each step of the tax software (do not skip any parts unless you're instructed to do so) and save some $ . Can't tell you how much refund you will get back, it depends on your income level, withheld amounts and other factors. If you add details about your income and amount withheld from your wages etc., I am sure someone can tell about your expected refund amounts. Remember, if you do your taxes and got stuck, you know, you always welcome here to ask questions. |

Go with www.taxact.com. It's a lot cheaper than taxcut or turbotax, and just as good. |

The other guys are correct. I prefer Turbo-Tax, but hear Tax Cut is good too. TT leads you right through. It is awfully hard to make a mistake. |
