Alaska,
There are several states with no incmoe tax, Florida and Texas just to name a couple. However, Alaska has such a hard time getting people to live there not only do they NOT tax you but they offer a check to all citizens who agree to live there! Since oil is such a huge revenue stream for Alaska, they take a percentage of sales (probably less than 1%) and divide it by the population and mail them a check. Despite this, I still wouldnt live there. |

Texas has no state income tax; Wyoming either. But they have higher property taxes than some. You have to check out all tax that you would incur to find out cheapest places. Nevada is also good because most of state revenue there comes from Casino tax. No state income there, either, if I recall correctly. |

I heard that if you live in Cheyenne wyoming, you will pay the lowest amt of taxes! wyo has no state income tax,along with texas, washington and a couple other states
