It no longer is the Inland Revenue, but HM Revenue and Customs these days. In its wisdom, a couple of years ago, the Government joined together the Inland Revenue, and Customs and Excise, and lumbered this department to deal with the credits.
I expect you will all get letters in due course, but due to the number involved, it is unlikely they could all be sent at the same time. The department issuing the letters couldn't cope with all those letters at once, and I don't think the Royal Mail there could handle that volume of post on the same day. |

yes i did this morning,it said my details were on one of the disc's that 'have gone missing'but that i should'nt worry,it said to keep an eye on my bank account for any trasactions not done by myself,it also said i said i should'nt change my bank account.......well excuse me but if my bank details are roaming around somewhere i think i should change my account number,would'nt you????? |

i havent had one either. you might get one in a few days if your friends have had one. they should send more than an apology letter though. theres far too many identities that have been put at risk because of their stupid mistake. |
