you are 100% wrong. sorry for that. Have you ever realised what immigrants pay? they pay more than us like National insurance, taxes, etc etc. and in top of that , they do no get anything from the government as we do. They can't claim any child tax credits, job seeker's allowance.....etc not even their dependant. The only thing that is free for them and for everyone is the NHS and education till A-Levels.
I think we should argue abt this anymore because they are really an asset to our country and its economy. Remember, only qualified and skilled immigrants are allowed to enter/stay in the UK. So, they are difinitely better. Cheers. |

Don't all NHS hospitals deal with patients in urgency order?
I know the few times I've had to attend for myself, my children & disable mother this has been the case.

totally agree,would you get all the benefits&privilages in their country,would you heck.i pay ni stamps then you pay for presciptions,council tax ,mortgage,water electric,public transport,phone,tv,car.they just need to go to the social&they are given everything on a plate or they start complaining.Also gets done by a lot of british scroungers too.im not racist, jus t annoyed,at the british system. |

I dispute your analysis of the situation. The basis for giving NHS care is a mixture of clinical need and the availability of funds. I'm not saying that it's a perfect system, but it is not based on how much tax the patient has/hasn't paid or their racial/ethnic background.
The real problem is the amount of tax that the highest earners manage to avoid paying. The news has been full of stories of top-level business leaders earning many many times their employees' average earnings, yet paying a far smaller proportion in tax. Some even manage to pay less tax in real terms than their employees.
The poor are still subsidising the rich, regardless of racial/ethnic background or status as a native/immigrant. |

Because you don't say anything 'collectively'. I live in Spain and if that happened here the 'locals' would be out on the streets protesting, and quite rightly. Here you show your Social Security Card which you only get if you are legally working, retired etc. if you don't have one you wait until everyone else has been seen, unless in the case of a dire emergency when they treat anyone regardless of nationality, race, religion. etc. I have worked as a translator for the system in Britain and it is shameless in it's 'preference' for non Brits. You guys in U.K. need to organise yourselves, fighting on your own will achieve nothing, it has to be nationwide. |

Because Britain is supposed to be the country of compassion. I begrudge paying my taxes to help foreigners get their free medical help. The last in line are the people who need hospital treatment the most - those who are over 60 and have paid taxes for many years. |
