See you pay property taxes, state taxes, insurance, ect. All that BS! And the county comes out write you a ticket fining because you have a truck with a blown engine! I think thats BS because you own the property and work hard pay for the taxes and they turn around and stab you in the back like an enemy! Thats not right! Thats BS! |

Paying taxes does not give you the right to create a junkyard in a residental neighborhood. It is right that you got a ticket. The county is responsible for enforcing the zoning laws for you and everyone else. |

Because people like you bring down the value of the properties in the neighborhood. I'll grant you, you do own your property, but just like you can't build a nuclear device there, you don't have exclusive freedom to trash your property at the cost of the community. Try thinking of those around you for a change, and take some pride in where you live. |

because it's considered a public eyesore. Nobody wants to see your truck or car up on cement blocks, old washers and dryers left around the yard, garbage strewn about, etc.
Think about what you would be doing to the property VALUE of the houses around you? |

Maybe you have a neighbor that doesn't particularily appreciate looking at your garbage. I might have paid for each and every tire that I have piled up in my yard, but that doesn't give me the right to display such a grotesque collection for the neighbors to see whether they like to or not. It's all about being coniderate and one man's crap is another man's gold.
I think that considering that you feel that you have been stabbed in the back like an enemy shows that maybe there are many more issues that need to be looked at. Maybe you are a tad paranoid of people's views of you and 1st you should look in the mirror before thinking the world is after you! |

We all have to live here and regardless if you paid for the property or not, junk vehicles are an eyesore that nobody wants to look at. It's to keep everyone having a nice view out their windows! Would you be happy if the neighbor who bought the property next to you decided to fill his yard with out houses and use them? Would you want someone raising tigers and lions next to you? So the law is there to protect the best intrest of everyone! Not BS at all, but a wonderful tool to keep everyone happy! |

Even most salvage yards have to put up fences around their property if it's viewable from a public highway. When I lived in Oregon, just standing in some creeks at crucial times can cause the fish to stop biting.
It's possible that on of your neighbors could lose the sale of their property if a prospective buyer is "put off" by the image of your "cars & junk". Don't disrespect your neighbors and label yourself "the messy neighbor". |

I guess so the property values can go up and they can charge you more taxes. Seriously though, nobody wants to live in a junky area. Move it to the back or where it can't be seen, if possible. |
