kanjoos makhichoos | Why does the goverment tax high income people? |
isnt this unfair, why is this even here, I dont understand why they would want to tax a office worker more than a taco bell worker, since they are all using the same services from the goverment, on top of that they are putting them in a higher tax brackts, doesnt this encourage people to not want a higher paying job because of how little they will gain. This seems really stupid to me, I think it is their moral right to enjoy their money if they earn it, instead of having it eaten away by the IRS Additional Details I like the idea of the chinese goverment one answerer said, with no poverty and everybody has free medical care and a home, this eliminates stress in life, and lets people live happily, but the system here is so messed up, I also like the idea of everybody getting free college, but the problem is that people here want to be educated so that they can get a high paying job, but if they get all of their money sucked away by the IRS then what is the point of going to college |

The US tax system is a progressive system, and is set up on the basis of people who have more, pay more. The thinking is that they are more able to pay more. |

Under God's law to Isreal about taxes, for public services, such as they did maintain a military and schools and places of worship. Some think that was contribultions to religion.
But in essence it was taxes.
Since God instituted it that seems like a good idea.
They gave a flat 10% of everything they acquired. Under that law the rich would have paid more.
They were careful about gleeming the outside of the field leaving it for the poor and disabled. that was their form of welfare.
A man with a bigger field, would be giving more than someone with a small plot of wheat. A tree was taxed a flat rate that is why if a tree did not produce it was cut down, to avoid the taxes on the tree.
So actually that is scriptural. |

Some people are so selfish it is amazing. When most of them believe in hell. You can't take it with you.
I do think alyssa is right though, a fair and just amount would be 10% of everything. Left over food that has been in stores to long and is thrown out could go to feed the poor.
We could come up with a better system than we now have.
rich people hid their assests and usually pay less than the guy working at taco bell.
It is the middle income workers like us that pay the most. |

tax systems are unfair all over the world, there should be a base rate for everybody, regardless of earnings, if there was, you wouldnt see half the tax fraud and evasion, the same goes for sales taxs, in australia we pay something like 5 different taxs on fuel, if you work out your sales tax, income tax and what ever other taxs you pay daily, you would be astounded by how much we actually pay, one year i was on night shift, and i was asked to do 4 hours over time, on xmas day, so i done it seeing as it was night time anyway, so i didnt get my smoko break, so that was extra as well, i was on 4 to 1 for that time, it worked out to just over $400 for the 4 hours, come pay day, i got an extra $10, the rest was taxed, so where is the fairness in that, great xmas treat for me and the family, the governments suck, notice how they get huge incomes and dont have to pay the same taxs! |

I agree with the one who said, some people are so selfish.
Some do not have opportunities to go to college or their parents were not rich, I do not mind paying taxes and as an accountant I am what is called the middle income people.
The average American.
But, I like the idea of paying 10% flat rate. Then getting rid of the waste and high income paid to politicians with their kick backs. We need to clean up where the money is goiing./
Dr. Phil says it is not the amount of income you have but the way you spend it that determines whether you go bankrupt or not. USA is way to much in debt to China.
I was reading about poverty in the world, do you know no one in China is living in poverty? I know I was amazed to.
Everyone has health care, a home, and food.
In a country with no religion to speak of. |

because those people are there targets the more you repaort in the upper millions the more they will come at you, the rich always picks up the tab, This is really sad now you know why all your mega rich people have off shore accounts |

It's the Liberal way of punishing people for refusing to live on Welfare. The more you make, the more you are punished. My constitutional rights and privileges should not cost any more or less than someone elses and everyone should be required to pay their 'Fair and Equal' tax burden responsibilities, regardless of income! |
