The news articles have been saying the people with low social security #s will get theirs first (the last 2 digits) my husbands is 00, you can't get any lower, and he was the main filer on our joint return. We directly deposited our federal return, and its been said that they were sending out deposits to those who directly deposited and have low social security #s...well? Wheres ours then? |

I am sorry the news was not very clear as to this....they are doing the 1st group (00-20) this week, it is done randomly within that group. The IRS states that anyone in that group will recieve their rebate NO LATER THAN May 2nd. If you did not get it today then it will be in your account on May 2nd...if you do not get it by then I would call the IRS to see what is up. |

It will be there by Friday, May 2, for people with SSN's ending between 00 and 20. They sent a small percentage out Mon., Tues., and today, but most of them are being transmitted on Friday. I was surprised that ours showed up today. |

00-20 are supposed to go in this week. They never said what order this week. Not sure if they are batching them each day by the first numbers. I know there aren't any going in Thurs to gear up for Fri. Patience and start asking again if you don't see it by Friday. |

I am in the same boat as you my husbands social ends in 00 and we used direct deposit and nothing. The money could be used right about now but anyways hope you get yours soon. Happy spending! |

Don't feel to bad, it is now may 2nd at 1:15 PM and I still dont have mine, I need that money or else I cannot pay my son's preschool tuition, what am I going to do, the IRS website says transmitted no later than May 2nd, but my bank says it won't be there for a while. My last to SS digits are 09, I clearly fall into the catagory stipulated on the schedule, so where the hell is my money, does the government think we are stupid or what. I for one am sick of being taken advantage of, I want my money, and I want it now! |

If it was marked for deposit on May 2nd, then the bank may be holding it until May 2nd. Call them and ask them if you have any pending deposits.
Not all banks behave that way. One gal in our outfit actually got hers back on the 25th. Wish I knew what bank she used. |

Call your bank because your deposit may be pending right now. Mines is and is set to be released Friday. I had to speak to a customer service rep. My last two digits are 01. |
