The last digits of my social is 06 and i just got my rebate deposited on my account today. Maybe check back with your bank if there's a pending or an authorization from the IRS because thats how i found out i was going to get it today. I called my bank on wednesday and asked if there was something from the IRS and sure thing, they said its just on hold and will be reflected on 05/02/2008. Goodluck to you guys! |

give the IRS time...I'm sure you are not the only person in the United States whose SS# ends in 00. They only STARTED depositing them yesterday, they didn't say everyone would have them yesterday |

I still haven't received my deposit. I am going to be worried at the end of today and it isn't in there. Mark H says, "Don't worry." I don't understand how Mark H can be so confident. I don't trust our bureaucratic system not to make mistakes any farther than I can throw it, and I can't throw it very far. |

If you are married filing jointly, does the 2nd person's ss# affect when you get your rebate? My husband's is 00 but mine is 30... We are getting anxious because we really need the money at the moment, and today is Friday and we STILL haven't gotten it yet. =[

We have not received ours yet either and mine ends in 10 (my wifes ends with 11) I dont think they are doing this with any kind of numerical order. My wife is getting cranky waiting. |

My social ends with 00 too, I opted for direct deposit and still have not received it. Its probably going to hit on Friday. |

Let me ask you this...If you used H&R block, and got the RAC or RAL checks, then you will be recieving a paper check, not direct deposit, even though you got ur federal refund direct deposited. |

Thanks Rebecca for your informative answer. The reason we are impatient is that we need the money to pay gas and bills.
Anyway, I end in 20 and it was in my bank this a.m (Friday) when I looked online. Whew. Hope you all get yours soon. |

Hopefully you should receive it today.
IRS has begun to transfer economic stimulus payments from April 28, 2008, so some of you will already see payments in their bank accounts. Those who opted for direct deposit will be the first to get the rebate. Mailing of paper check will begin from May 16.

I think they go by the couples lowest social, and they are going in order of social, people at work who have received stimulus, well in Arizona anyway have socials ending between 0 and 30 something...and those of us who havent got it yet have socials of 40 and higher, mine is 55 so I feel it should come to my account by mid week...so I dont know how people with 40's got theirs cuz thats not the case out here in AZ. |

In reference to Mark h's answer ..I just wanted to say its probably not being impatient...it's just being curious as to why they said they would be deposited on April 28th and haven't shown up yet...there are a lot of different things being said on-line so people are confused so relax! |

You should get it by Friday. They have sent out some payments early, but not in the order stated by the IRS. I know 2 people who received their payment early, and their ssn#40's. Mine is #09, so I thought mine would be first. |

I havent received mine and today is FRIDAY the last two of my soc is 00 as well!! And yes I am impatient and complaining due to the fact that there is no consistancy with the IRS on what they say and what they do. |

My husbands SS# ends in 00 and we have direct deposit yet no deposit yet. My brother in-law SS# ends in 19 and he got his yesterday. If you don't get it by Friday then I would begin to worry. |
