Why in India Budget gives "soft" corner to Industralists, Businessmen. Why its always a burden pass on the common community the 'end user' who always suffer in every budget.
In this ESOP - FBT will it not discourage IT & other major sectors' employees opt for a job out side India. Will they not think that Why should we earn just to pay tax to the Government.
India is shinning & Incredible India - HOw in following ways.
a) We collect Road Tax but the Infrastructure of Good Roads will never come up.
b) We will collect Service tax but Govt render Good services to Politicians,Businessmen,Actors,Tax evaders and not to the common community.
c) We collect Eduction Cess where as the standard of Eductation and Cost of Education is like soaring of Prices .
Collection of Huge Fees/Donation will never comes to an end.
Despite all the above collection everyone opts for Overseas Education - perhaps for Standard or any other specific reason ie., non availabiliity of seats and so on |

Budget is not for help of common man / salaried sector. All has to help themself. Budget is for income and expenditure of Govt. in next financial year. Budget is not bad. Govt. want money from all. All has to share as per income / status. Govt. want more from rich and less from rich. Rich are also paying a lot. There are a lot of salaried persons, having income from other sources, but not payng tax on extra income. |

You are expressing a very important feeling of the salaried class.
The answer is simple ! This is the only area where our Fin Minister 's are sure to get revenue without any additional effort or strain. Compliance will be 100%.Such an easy money which minister (read politician) would like to miss.
Most other categories mentioned by you are the perennial sources for election funds for political parties.Can they be displeased?
The solution lies in electing honest people whose calibre is known.Easily said than done! |

Its a very good question and I think this in the same wavelength of my thoughts.
If Govt. works on ethics, no need to suck the common man for the betterment of politicians and celebrities.
Remove all taxes and charge only one tax like sales tax or income tax or transaction tax. Do not leave any body from paying the tax. Only one tax and strict collections will help the Govt. to run the Govt. with ease.
Then the tax complications will not be there. No tax harassments will be there. and even no black money creation will be there.
Any body (our great politicians) try to give a thought on this ?
