Richard H | Why should I pay a Tax on my Labor? |

The only reasons I can think of are... because it is the law and you use the services provided from tax that is collected.
Hope this helps. |

Actually, you don't. No one in the history of the US has ever paid tax on their labor. However, you must pay a tax on your "income" as defined by the law and courts. |

Aside from the fact that you do not want to pay any sort of income tax, why do you feel that your income derived from this manner should be exempt?
Most people who work (labor) for a living pay their tax and file an annual return and somehow or other manage to survive. Why should you be an exception? |

There is no tax on labor. The tax is on what you receive for the labor (usually salaries or wages, but can also apply to non-monetary payment, especially in barter transactions). |
