I think you are confused. The rebate is for those who pay INCOME taxes. To pay income taxes, you need a Social Security Number, or a work Visa. Having either of those would indicate that the person in question is not living in this country as an illegal alien.
Taxes on goods that are sold are an entirely different thing. |

It is a small wonder that Gdubbya doesn't give you illegals first dibs on the rebates, but thank goodness you don't get any. Some illegal immigrants DO file income tax statements. There is a "Tax ID" number that can be used to file taxes, even without a social security (and I think Work Visa). The cases I saw when doing taxes as a Volunteer would run something like this: Jon made $12,000 last year. Jon is supporting his wife and 2 children. Jon had a couple hundred dollars withheld from his check and, with the earned income tax credit, got back more than $1,000. Way more than he paid in... |

If you wanted all the benefits you should have came here legally. Because of all you illegals we are losing jobs or having to take lower pay. Not to mention having to learn how to speak Spanish just to serve you. Your kids even get passed in school because they don't speak English and that can't be held against them, so there grades don't matter, our kids actually have to pass or be held back.
I'm sorry come here legally and learn English. We don't go to your country and expect hand outs, so why do you think you deserve them for sneaking into ours? |
