you also get a free police force to maintain law and order... (sometimes)... part of our tax funds the BBC.... and the Queen...
you dont like it, then leave, and pay thru the nose like they do in other countries... |

its just the way of the world. Taxes pay for everything, your healthcare, roads, bridges, The MOD, elderly peoples pensions, and even the people that dont work their dole money. Tax's p everyone off, but they've been around since god no's when back in the day when robin hood was prancin around, and probably before that, its just the way it goes. |

i think any over time you do should be all your money but if ur earning more in overtime u should have that taxed and not taxed on ur normal hours |

Its called an income tax because you pay taxes on all the income you earn---usually as a percentage of total income for the year. Also because its the law and if you don't, you could be fined a penalty or thrown in jail.

You seem a bit muddled in your thinking? Do you not understand, everybody has to pay tax on their income, not just You. But people on low income pay less tax than people on high income. And do you really think it is illogical or unjust that the more hours you work and the better you perform at your workplace, the more cash goes into your pocket for you to take home to support your family (including baby) and dependents?? It is simple really! |
