taken 3000 only recieved 950 back ..i claim zero every year i have no deductions to speak aside from standard im 23 im single and have no children...i feel like they are stealing my money i only made 21,000 dollars and for them to take 3000 amd only give 950 back seems unjust...i did not have any issues i dont owe govetment anything im paying my student loans back there is no reason for this someone please explain?

Just figure that the Fed will take 15-25% and your state around 6%. If it is less than that, then your ahead of the game, if your over that, you are probably making enough money that you should consider yourself lucky.
Reasons: Im sure you know you are helping to pay for interstates, schools, defense, government services, welfare, medical help to uninsured, etc.etc.etc.etc

We work, we pay taxes. If you want to live in a third world country and pay little in taxes and eat out of a garbage can then feel free. But as long as you live in the USA with all our ammentities then start patting yourself on the back for pitching in your share for our great country. |
