Will I receive my Stimulus check?
Has anyone that owes back child support receieved their Stimulus check? I owe my ex back child support. I got my letter on Thursday saying my check would be here tomorrow. And I havent received anything from child support saying they will take it. I was wondering if there is a chance I may receive my check. Additional Details I realize I do owe the money and it is being paid back each month. Thing is my children are grown and do not even live with my ex husband. So it is not taking money away from them. They are married with their own children. This is money I owe from years ago. And like I said he is getting it paid back each month.

me ex owes back support but he got his check i didnt get it...as long as your making payments they shouldnt take it but if you havent been payin im sure its gone...p.s. have you called your ex to see if she got it ???

There's a very good chance it will be diverted to pay that past debt.

IRS is required to send you a letter letting you know how much you qualify for and yes the letter does give you a date when the payment will be issue, only thing is IRS did not add on the letter that if you have a government debt you will not receive the rebate instead will be offset to the debt.
