No, don't worry about one word or idea, look at the whole picture..Obama has great economists that worked with Clinton. look up Bill Clinton accomplishments & you will see how many jobs were created...we will rebuild he foundation jobs, health, education then people will get off of welfare & they will be paying taxes & this circulation will improve the economy. We have to see this as one whole picture that functions instead of just focusing on the friends of the person in office which is what Bush has done & that is why we have the war the economic mess, etc. It will all work out with Obama & taxes are not going to be a big deal..he actually wants us all to get some money to help with the gas & high prices.

Not as dramatically as wailed about by desperate posters here. Some belts will need tightening, but he will reduce and redirect more than just slash and burn.

No, not really. Most business small business don't make above $250k. There is also small businesses tax credit; which it will help small business no to pay high taxes.

No, not at all if anything the Union's that represent the people of that company will become stronger which is a problem right now because of Bush. When the Unions are stronger than can negotiate for better pay rates and better benefits. And Obamas tax plan is to tax heavier on people making over 250K and not give billion dollar tax breaks to gas companies which are receiving all of America's money anyway. Plus small business's usually dont make over 250K a year so they would not be placed in the heavier tax bracket. But as of right now no one knows how heavy the tax would be on those people but it would not cause them to go bankrupt or have to lose employees.

Yes it will. Obama's new tax schedule came out today. $40,000 to $64,000 taxes raised up 20%. $65,000 up to $249,000 decreased 20%, and $250,000 and up increase 20%. Capitol gains taxes on everyone's 401k will raise 40%. Small business, Middle Class, and poor will make up the deduction of the tax cut for the Middle class. Matter of fact, we all will be paying more taxes from what I have seen from his new policy. I think we are screwed!

I can tell you that as a consultant, I have been thinking of adding a few people to assist me but this would bring me above that limit and thus will not be worth doing. So I don't think it will effect established businesses as much as it would start ups.

No. It will create jobs when the middle class has buying power again- thus creating the need for a larger work force. Businesses will pay their fair share of taxes.
