Obama will be responsible for the biggest tax increase in American history. Just as Bill Clinton ran on a middle class tax cut and "discovered," once in office, that a cut would be impossible, so too will Obama turn the tables on us. Clinton never had any intention to cut taxes, neither does Obama. Don't be fooled twice (assuming you were fooled before). |

I expect whoever is President, our taxes will go up. The deficit is killing us. Prudent management requires an increase in taxes. |

Yes. No matter what either candidate says our taxes will get raised by both of them. |

His plan only include raising taxes for people making $250,000, BUT he is going to let other tax credits expire, meaning taxes will go up for many people making less that $250,000 too.
Not to mention, we have to stop believing that we can get something for nothing. you want universal healthcare, increased financial industry oversight, wars all over the world, somebody has to pay. |

Only if you make more than $250,000 annually. Otherwise your taxes will go down. Obama can say the words,"Middle Class". McCain hasn't yet. |

Of the two candidates, he is the only one with a plan to lower taxes on 95% of Americans. What is it about that plan that "joe six pack" or "Joe the plumbers" of the U.S. don't get? How many people do you personally know who make more than $250,000.00 per year? I would guess, none. I don't get how anyone who can read and comprehend english can contemplate voting for Mclone? Mclone's plan is the old trickle down plan that has not worked for the working class. He even admits he will continue the tax breaks to the wealthy and working people still debate on whether to vote against him or not. Wow! |

I am not sure how it can be easier to understand.
Do you take home MORE than 250,000 per year? That is, is your net pay (not gross pay), more than 1/4 of a million dollars per year? If yes, see answer 1. If no, see answer 2.
1. Maybe.
2. No, he will LOWER your taxes, meaning that you will have more money. |

It probably depends on your income. I expect mine to increase but people in the underground economy will probably get money like a tax refund even if they pay no tax. |

Yes as it is in his plan. Oh, and forget that 250K bs that his followers are dreaming about. The increases will be for all tax brackets...(that's what happens when you let the previous tax cuts expire, which is what Obama wants to do and his so called "cut" doesn't cover it.) |

Obama has a plan to lower taxes. In fact, if you go on his website, www.barackobama.com, you can enter your information, and it will give you a list of your tax drop as oppose to McCain's. |

There will be tax cuts for people making less than $25,000 AFTER TAX DEDUCTIONS (so some people who are making more than that, after they write off everything, will actually receive the tax cuts).
Taxes will only be raised for people making over $25,000 after deductions. |
