Wait a minute, misunderstood that. You did have an income but they didn't withhold federal? If that's the case then yes you will get a refund, child tax credit and EIC. |

Yes you will get a refund even though nothing was held. You are eligible for the Additional Child Tax Credit and Earned Income Credit depending on how much you made. |

Do you have no income, or just nothing withheld? You should call H&R block and ask them. I get a very small amount with held and I still get back a few thousand because of the Child Tax Credit. If you have no income for 2008 then no, you wont be able to file. |
