If your refund was directly deposited, then your rebate will be directly deposited.
Quoted directly from the IRS site
"Q. Can I have my stimulus payment direct deposited?
A. Stimulus payments will be direct deposited for taxpayers who select that option when filing their 2007 tax returns." |

If you had direct deposit for your tax refund on your tax return, that is how you rebate will be done also. It will be direct deposited. It is automatically done that way. If you did NOT have your refund direct deposited and mailed to you then THAT is how you rebate will be sent. It's automatic . Here is the question directly answered from the IRS web site.
Q. Can I have my stimulus payment direct deposited?
A. Stimulus payments will be direct deposited for taxpayers who select that option when filing their 2007 tax returns. Taxpayers who already filed and requested direct deposit won't need to do anything else to receive the stimulus payment. Taxpayers who did not request direct deposit for their 2007 refund will receive a paper check by mail. The IRS reminds taxpayers who haven't filed their 2007 returns yet that direct deposit is the fastest way to get both regular refunds and stimulus payments. |

Yes, if your tax refund from your 2007 return was DD. If there's a problem, it will be mailed to address on return. You can file a change of address form with IRS, Form 8822. |

Call your local IRS office, or visit.
Inquire about a direct deposit.
They may be able to give you some idea of date, as this is determind by the last two digits of your SS number.
Ask about FORWARDING, or if it will/can be forwarded.
If it appears that it will be mailed later than May, ask about a change of address....IF you know your new address, or if you will have time to change address at the time you move.
They should be able to guide you. |

It may be. You can call the IRS and find out. If it won't, talk to someone at your post office, they can help you |

It will not be direct deposited because it is seperate from your income tax return, and they will send it to the address listed on your return. Best thing to do is give the change of address to the IRS ASAP so the government will have the correct info. Even if you have to use a PO Box. |
