I'm still getting an error each time I check the status of my rebate on the IRS website. My husband and I filed joint with 3 qualifying children back in Jan. We are military so e-filing was free. We got our DD at the end of Jan straight from IRS. Our bank account shows "US Treasury 220" for that deposit. We are supposed to be in the 2nd batch next week. Will the deposit still be transmitted May 9th?

Hi there. I am getting the same message from the "where's my stimulus" link. My husband's ss ends in 44. Mine is 05, but he was the first name on the form. My brother checked his, ss ending in 43 and it says May 6th he will get $300. I don't know why his would show up and not ours unless it could be because he has no dependents and didnt make enough to qualify for the full $600. From what I am seeing from the answers on this site, there really is no rhyme or reason to how they are sending them out. Our refund was direct deposited from US Treasury 220 also. Who knows? Maybe since this is Sunday, we can check tomorrow and get some new info. I hope so...we need to do some repairs to our jeep. It isn't impairative that we have this money, but it would be nice to get it so that we don't have to pull from our savings.
The only other thing is that if you had it deposited to 2 accounts, (ex. checking and savings) supposedly you will be getting a paper check. This isn't the case with us, but it may be for some others. Oh well...hopefully we will see something by the 9th! Good luck! |

If you are still receiving the error message then you haven't been scheduled yet, once you get the we are sorry message you are actually a step closer. Then finally you should be able to put your information in an get an actually update. I know someone who works at the IRS and they said the link will only show you information once your dd has been scheduled. It will tell you when,how much and why so it should answer all your questions once it actually schedules. |

This link will only work if the IRS has processed your stimulus rebate and submitted it for payment!! Therefore, if you are getting an error message, it's simply because they haven't gotten to yours just yet!! For the second batch of people, we should start seeing ours starting tomorrow throughout Friday!! I'm just hoping luck is on our side seeing all the troubles that people have been going through with the first batch!! GOOD LUCK!! |

Yes it should be I was told that, that is how they set up a direct deposit you will see that treasury thing then you will get the money shortly after. |

That link has been a torment for the last four days for me! I've been checking it relentlessly SS end in 52, I knew I had qualified for the payment and DD but could not get any info from the link at all, kept getting the "sorry" message, same on the phone. My mom ends in 24, her info was up as soon as the link was active (scheduled deposit 5/7), my best friend ends in 62, her info has been up since Saturday (deposit on 5/9) but nothing for me and I was checking every couple of hours!
But just checked AGAIN and it's finally up for me, DD on 5/9 - whew!
That link is just making the whole messy thing all the more stressful! |
