what is the tax at best buy?
like, im saving 50 dollars to buy a camera at best buy, which is 50 dollars. but i know thats not the exact price. the tax is included. so how much percent of the price do they add?

like at gamestop: 19.99 8.875%= 21.76 percent added (8.875)

what i want to know at best buy: (percent added on to product)

i dont know ifthis helps but im buying it in the store, not online

Sales tax is set by the state. And in some states, cities, counties, and special districts are allowed to add to that rate as well.

If you pay 8.875% at Gamestop, you'll pay the same rate at Best Buy as long as it's in the same city, county, and any other special taxing district.

Sales depends on the specific state and city - not the specific store.

I'm pretty sure the tax is just whatever your state tax is
