Depends on which state you live in. I live in Oregon so I have no sales tax. I believe a 32gb iPod touch costs $300 and lets say the sales tax is 12%. What I usually do is divide the cost of the item by 100 to see what 1% of the price is. In this case $3 = 1% multiply $3 x 12% and we get $36. That is the sales tax you will have to pay on a 32gb iPod touch if the sales tax is 12%. It most likely will be higher or lower though, you'll just have to calculate it by what percentage the sales tax is. |
