i am renting a condo i have been here for almost 3 years and my window broke in april i reported it the next day cause the office was closed and it has not been repaired yet i still have plastic on my window and i also have been having plumbing problems my bathroom sink has been backing up and my neighbor in front of me has been having the same problem cause our pipes are connected we have been having this problem since feburary he has reported the problem and i have reported the problem and this past weekend me and my son brushed our teeth and the water in the sink is slow going down and when we were done the water in my sink backed up into his so he came out and asked me if i just used my bathroom sink and i said yeh and he said that the water went up into his sink both of us have asked repeatedly if it was going to get fixed sometime soon and all we get is a yes yesterday i went into the office to pay my rent and the maintence man was in the office just sitting there now why would he be sitting there when my home needs repairs it has needed repairs since feburary and all he is doing is sitting in the office..what can i do to get the repairs done? what are my rights to get the repairs done?can i with hold my rent until it gets done?
