Rumour has it that Toyota is to cut jobs

Headlines around the globe are sprouting up, announcing that Toyota is to cut jobs.

Toyota Motor Corp., the world’s biggest auto maker has rumours of job cuts going around. The talk comes amidst tumbling demand and frenetic production costs as the global economic crisis takes its toll on automakers across the globe.

Potential job cuts would affect operations in North America and in the United Kingdom. As of today, Toyota is not confirming or declining such rumours.
